To your profound surprise perhaps, success didn’t come quickly for the Canadian hardcore punk collective Fucked Up. If there is one thing though that we can glean from their slow rise to prominence then it is this: "Never underestimate the band of a fat man who derives pleasure from magazine photoshoots by stripping naked and tucking his penis between his legs so as to simulate a mangina”.

God bless the world of entertainment! To any remotely sane person it would seem that a concert to celebrate the end of the Berlin Wall should be a free for all. Not MTV though, who saw fit to build a six and a half foot tall metal barrier obscuring the acts to all but the 10000 ticket holders. There truly is no business like show business.
