Hometown: Crouch End, London, England
Sounds Like: Joanna Newsom, Laura Marling, Noah and The Whale
Release Date: 5 July 2010

Backed up by guitarist Jamie MacColl and bassist Ed Nash though, the motley three pull together an affable chat to The Counterfit on their debut album, their plans for its follow-up and their forthcoming NME Awards Tour slot.

The NME Awards Bore 2010

As any seasoned gig-goer will testify, the NME Awards Tour is usually your one stop shop for all the new musical goodness set to make it big over the year to come. This year’s shindig is looking a tad sparse on innovative produce though with The Maccabees having completed an academy tour only a month ago and the supporting acts already popping up high and low on many an end of year list.
